Flat position is the most convenient welding position. The quality of solder joints is high due to good exhaust conditions, and impurities are easily removed from the weld pool. On the other hand, when soldered, it is easy to observe the formation of welds. Tie hammer is also the most common welding position in production, and is the most basic position a worker must perform.
Before welding, prepare the weld, clean the welding position. We can chamfer one side or two sides depending on the thickness of the solder. In order to ensure the surface smoothness between the components and to ensure the clearance between the parts, the fixing must be sure.
The rules of welding
☑ Welding must be strong, the quality of the welded must be the main weld.
☑ The distance between the welds is about 40-50 times the thickness of the weld but not exceeding 300mm.
☑ The length of the weld is approximately 3-4 times the thickness of the weld and not exceed 30mm.
☑ The welding current must be greater than the welding current of 10-15%.
☑ After welding, it is necessary to revise the weld because the weld may be distorted when welded.
☑ Select the welding rod diameter and welding current intensity: The welding rod diameter and welding power are selected according to the table in the manual or can be calculated according to the formula: 1 Amp corresponding to 0.0254 mm welding rod diameter. Alternatively, select a low-current solder, then adjust it by 5 to 10 Amp and consider the soldering ability accordingly.

➢ Note: Solder joints have different lengths, different welding methods can be applied:
☑ 250mm short solder: continuous welding from one end to the other in the same direction.
